We have released an upgraded version of the Rooder Citycoco M1P model in 2026. What are the new features?

2026 citycoco m1p upgraded - 14"/13" TIRES, 60V30A:

• Upgraded the controller’s ‘intelligent dynamic algorithm’ to deliver more linear power output and lower heat generation for the 60V motor, while enhancing the energy recovery efficiency of the electronic brake.

• Upgraded to an industry-unique ‘reverse disc brake’ motor — with a fuller, more compact, and more stylish appearance, a longer brake lever arm for stronger braking force, better heat dissipation, and reduced performance fade during continuous braking.

• Upgraded to a high-rate battery pack with an intelligent BMS protection board, featuring hardware-level dual protection and independent balancing for each cell. It can also communicate and coordinate with the upgraded controller in real time for greater safety and durability.

• Upgraded the rims and tires: the front tire has been changed from 130/70-12 to 120/80-14, and the rear tire from 215/40-12 to 215/40-13. The tread pattern is completely redesigned to balance straight-line stability and cornering grip, with significantly improved ground clearance. Crucially, the tires come with a US DOT certificate, with certification codes on the sidewall — verifiable quality, not generic unbranded tires.

• Upgraded the material strength of the front and rear fenders and their mounting brackets — several times stronger than the old version. The brackets have also been upgraded to a three-point triangular stable mount, ensuring no vibration at high speed, no cracking on rough roads, and no mud splashing in the rain.

• Upgraded the battery compartment cover. The new cover is made of glass-fiber-reinforced ABS composite, with local thickening and rounded stress-relief design at the hinge and latch points — the most failure-prone areas. Its fatigue life is at least three times that of the original cover.

• Upgraded to a 3D floating mesh seat — breathable mesh fabric on the surface to keep cool in summer, with zoned density support underneath to prevent sagging and numbness. It also features a hydrophobic coating for easy wipe-cleaning — far more comfortable than the old foam seat.

• Upgraded the front and rear suspension and the rear fork: the front fork uses hydraulic damping, the rear shock features a high-carbon steel variable-pitch reinforced spring, and the rear fork has been replaced with a triangular reinforced welded structure. Now, bumps are less jarring, cornering is more stable, and the overall ride quality has moved up a whole level.

• Upgraded the turn signals to EEC-certified LED assemblies with E-mark on the housing — light intensity, color, beam angle, and water/dust protection all tested to European regulatory standards. LEDs turn on 0.3 seconds faster than halogen bulbs for safer lane changes, and have 10 times the lifespan, so you’ll rarely need to replace bulbs again.

Rooder Story:

At the heart of the logo are the two “O”s in ROODER, reimagined as the front and rear wheels of an electric vehicle. The outer rings represent tires, while the inner circles each feature nine uniquely arranged rectangular spokes. No two spokes are alike—they symbolize the diverse strengths of ROODER’s partners. Together, they form a unified wheel, reflecting how collaboration and mutual respect drive lasting success. The number nine, paired with the circular form, also tells a story of growth: from nothing to something, from small to strong, from local to global.

The remaining letters of ROODER are carefully stylized to convey strength, modernity, and innovation. The result is a logo that not only echoes the company’s core product—electric vehicles—but also embodies its mission: to drive the future with integrity, teamwork, and an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction.
